XUHUI ZHAO was founded by designer Xuhui Zhao. This contemporary fashion label draws inspiration from Eastern culture. The brand nourishes itself from traditional symbols, folk imagery and subconscious totems, reconstructing cultural memory through modern tailoring and structural language. It regards garments as conduits linking past and present, exploring how emotion, identity and culture manifest upon the body.

In her designs, XUHUI ZHAO specialises in combining geometric silhouettes, structural tailoring and meticulous craftsmanship. By blending natural fabrics with functional materials, she creates powerful, sculptural forms. Her palette centres on subdued earth tones and low-saturation hues, forging a restrained yet tension-filled visual language that embodies both cultural depth and contemporary aesthetics.
